Domperidone

নির্দেশনা : ডিসপেপটিক সিম্পটম কমপেক্স : পেটের উপরের অংশে ফাঁপা বোধ ও ব্যথা, পেট ফাঁপা, অল্প খাদ্যে তুষ্টি, বুকজ্বালা, আলসারবিহীন অজীর্ণ রোগ। ফাংশনাল, জৈবিক, সংক্রমণজনিত,খাদ্যাভাস, ওষুধ সেবন অথবা মাইগ্রেন হতে উদ্ভুত তীব্র বমি বমি ভাব এবং বমির প্রতিরোধ ও লক্ষণাদির উপশমে।

মাত্রা ও ব্যবহার বিধি : প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক : ১-২ টি ট্যাবলেট অথবা ১০-২০ মি.লি. সাসপেনশন, প্রতি ৪-৮ ঘণ্টা অন্তর খাদ্য গ্রহণের পূর্বে। শিশু : শরীরের ওজন অনুসারে ০.২ - ০.৪ মি.গ্রা./কেজি প্রতি ৪-৮ ঘন্টা অন্তর।

সতর্কতা ও যেসব ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না : শিশুদের এক্সট্রা-পিরামিডাল রিয়্যাকশনের সম্ভাবনা বেশী থাকে। তাই শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে ডমপেরিডোন সতর্কতার সাথে ব্যবহার করা উচিত। যকৃতের সমস্যায় সতর্কতার সাথে ব্যবহার করা উচিত। অতিসংবেদনশীলতা, পরিপাকতন্ত্রের উদ্দীপনা, পরিপাকতন্ত্রের রক্তক্ষরণ, মেকানিক্যাল অবস্‌ট্রাকশন বা পারফোরেশনের মত গ্যাস্ট্রিক সমস্যায় ব্যবহার অনুচিত।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : প্রোল্যাকটিনের মাত্রা বৃদ্ধি, দুগ্ধ নিঃসরণ এবং স্তনের আকার বেড়ে যেতে পারে, তভাব দেখা দিতে পারে এবং যৌন ইচ্ছা কমে যেতে পারে। মুখের শুষ্কতা, পিপাসা, মাথা ব্যথা, নার্ভাসভাব, ঝিঁমুনী, পাতলা পায়খানা, ত্বকের লালচে ভাব ও চুলকানী হতে পারে।

অন্য ওষুধের সাথে প্রতিক্রিয়া : ব্রোমোক্রিপটিন, অ্যান্টিমাসক্যারাইনিক্‌স, ওপিঅয়েড এনালজেসিক, মনোঅ্যামাইন অক্সিডেজ ইনহিবিটর।

গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার : গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের জন্যে অনুমোদিত নয়। মাতৃদুগ্ধে এটা খুব অল্প পরিমাণে নিঃসৃত হওয়ায় নবজাতকের ক্ষতির সম্ভাবনা থাকে না।
