মাত্রা ও প্রয়োগ বিধি : ইভাব্রাডিন এর প্রারম্ভিক মাত্রা ৫ মি.গ্রা. ট্যাবলেট দৈনিক ২ বার যা পরবর্তী তে ৩-৪ সপ্তাহ চিকিৎসার পর বিৃ দ্ধ করে ৭.৫ মি.গ্রা. ট্যাবলেট দৈনিক ২ বার করে দেয়া যেতে পারে। ইভাবা্র ডিন এর সা্ব ভাবিক মাত্রা হল একটি করে ট্যাবলেট দিনে ২ বার সকালে ও রাতে খাবার সময়। যদি বিশা্র মরত অবসা্থ য় হৃদস্পন্দনের হার ৫০ বি পি এম এর নিচে নেমে যায় বা ব্রাডিকার্ডিয়া সম্পকির্ত উপসর্গ দেখা দেয় তখন এর মাত্রা কমিয়ে ২.৫ মি.গ্রা. ট্যাবলেট দৈনিক ২ বার (৫ মি.গ্রা. ট্যাবলেটের অধের্ক দৈনিক ২ বার) এ নিয়ে আসতে হবে। যদি হৃদস্পন্দনের হার ৫০ বি পি এম এর নিচে থাকে অথবা ব্রাডিকার্ডিয়ার উপসর্গ অক্ষুন্ন থাকে তবে চিকিৎসা বন্ধ রাখতে হবে।
বয়ঃবৃদ্ধ: নিম্ন মাত্রা বিবেচনা করতে হবে (২.৫ মি.গ্রা. দৈনিক ২ বার) বৃক্কীয় অপর্যাপ্ততা: যে সব রোগীদের ক্রিয়াটিনিন ক্লিয়ারেন্স ১৫ মি.লি./মিনিট এর কম তাদের ক্ষেত্রে সাবধানতার সাথে ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
যকৃতের বিকলতা: মাঝারী ধরনের বিকলতার ক্ষেত্রে সাবধানতার সাথে ব্যবহার করতে হবে। তীব্র বিকলতার ক্ষেত্রে এটি প্রতিনির্দেশিত। শিশু ও কিশোরদের ক্ষেত্রে: নির্দেশিত নয়।

প্রতিনির্দেশনা : যাদের ইভাব্রাডিন বা এর কোনো উপাদানের প্রতি সংবেদনশীলতা আছে, যাদের বিশ্রামরত অবস্থায় হৃদস্পন্দনের হার ৬০ বি পি এম এর নিচে, কার্ডিওজেনিক শক, একিউট মায়োকার্ডিয়াল ইনফার্কশন, তীব্র নিম্ন রক্তচাপ (<৯০/৫০ মি.লি. মার্কারি), যকৃতের তীব্র অপর্যাপ্ততা, সাইনাসের অসুস্থ্যতার লক্ষণ, সিনো- অ্যাট্রিয়াল বক, হার্ট ফেইলিওর, পেস মেকার এর উপর নির্ভরশীলতা, আনস্ট্যাবল এনজিনা, ৩য় শ্রেণীর এ-ভি বক আছে এবং শক্তিশালী সাইটোক্রম পি-৪৫০ ৩ এ ৪ ইনহিবিটর (যেমন- অ্যাজল এন্টিফাংগালস্‌, ম্যাক্রোলাইড এন্টিবায়োটিকস্‌, এইচআইভি প্রটিয়েজ ইনহিবিটরস্‌) এর সাথে দেয়া যাবে না।

অন্য ওষুধের সাথে প্রতিক্রিয়া : যে সব ওষুধ QT- ওয়েভ প্রলম্বিত করে তাদের ব্যবহার নির্দেশিত নয় কার্ডিওভাসকুলার QT- ওয়েভ প্রলম্বনকারী ওষুধ (যেমন- কুইনিডিন, ডাইসোপাইরামাইড, বেপ্রিডিল, সোটালল, ইবুটিলাইড, এমিওডারন)। নন কার্ডিওভাসকুলার QT- ওয়েভ প্রলম্বনকারী ওষুধ (যেমন- পিমোজাইড, জিপ্রাসিডোন, সারটিনডোল, সেফলোকুইন, হ্যালোফেনট্রিন, পেনটামিডিন, সিসাপ্রাইড, আইভি ইরাইথ্রোমাইসিন) ইভাব্রাডিন এর সাথে কার্ডিওভাসকুলার ও নন- কার্ডিওভাসকুলার QT- ওয়েভ প্রলম্বনকারী ওষুধ এর ব্যবহার পরিহার করতে হবে কারন হৃদস্পন্দনের হার কমার কারনে ছঞ- ওয়েভ প্রলম্বন খারাপের দিকে যেতে পারে।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : দৃষ্টি সম্বন্ধীয় রোগ লক্ষণ, ঝাপসা দৃষ্টি, ব্রাডিকার্ডিয়া, ১ম শ্রেণীর এ-ভি বক, ভেন্ট্রিকুলার  এক্সট্রা সিস্টুল, মাথাব্যথা, ঝিমঝিমভাব দেখা দিতে পারে।

গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার : গর্ভাবস্থায়: গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের উপর ইভাব্রাডিন এর কোনো তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। তাই গর্ভাবস্থায় এটি প্রতিনির্দেশিত।
স্তন্যদানকালে: ইভাব্রাডিন প্রাণী দেহে দুধের সাথে নিঃসৃত হয়। তাই স্তন্যদানকালে এর ব্যবহার বন্ধ রাখা উচিত।
